Lights, Camera, ACTION!

‘Give Something Back’ has secured funding from Fairer Scotland to run a course enabling volunteers to write, film, and edit a marketing DVD for the project.

The course will be held at Adam Smith College, Leven, two days a week for six weeks, and there are eight volunteers attending. The course is titled “Lights, Camera, Action!” and is being delivered by Billy Caulfield, a tutor at Adam Smith. They have already begun filming and interviewing various organisations in the Central area of Fife, including the Express Group, Link Living, Ecology Centre and Step In. When the DVD is complete, we will post it here.

‘Give Something Back’ has also almost finished another run of confidence building courses for our volunteers. Next week is the last session, and we have had talks from Step In, Opportunities Fife, Link Living   Fife, Fire Brigade and a session on crystals and self healing. Ten volunteers attended, and all have thoroughly enjoyed it!
