Skills for Work 

Philip approached the inVOLve Project in Cupar in order to gain skills for work through volunteering. His aim is to work in retail.

He volunteers in the Wishes from Cancer Research UK, St Andrews shop, acquiring skills in stock-taking, till work and customer service, as well as interacting with members of the public and fellow volunteers and staff.

He has further increased his people skills by volunteering at Age Concern in Cupar where he enjoys meeting the members and helping out where required.

“It’s good experience and I’m really enjoying it.” says Philip.

To mark his achievement in completing 30 hours of volunteering, Philip will shortly receive an MV certificate
