All Round Care Service

The All Round Care volunteering service in West Fife promotes volunteering as therapy to improve the health and wellbeing of people who have experienced a variety of health issues. With tailored support All Round Care can help individuals find the right volunteering opportunity for them and to get started. Ultimately, through volunteering people can improve their confidence, learn new skills and increase their social contact.

This service is part of a multi-agency partnership that provides ‘all round care’ for people living in Dunfermline and West Fife. The aim of this service is to prevent acute mental health crisis and address the unmet needs of people with mental health issues so that they can return to good mental health as soon as possible.

As well as volunteering as therapy the All Round Care Service includes parenting (Home-start), counselling for alcohol issues (FASS), advice on food and nutrition (Dietician), mental health counselling (Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) and counselling related to childhood sexual abuse (Safe-Space).
