Volunteer Centre Fife offers a range of services through this website. While we strive to ensure that these services are of a high standard, it should be remembered that there are limitations:

1. we may signpost individuals to our service
2. we may interview potential volunteers
3. we have no way of knowing who volunteers are if they refer themselves via this website

Volunteer Centre Fife does not screen volunteers exept in specific projects for which it is responsible. It is entirely up to the volunteer-engaging group to select/screen volunteers, and offer them appropriate support.

Volunteer Centre Fife does not screen all organisations at present. However, where known, we will advise if certain supports for volunteers are not in place, eg insurance, expenses.

It is up to the potential volunteer to decide if they are comfortable with the policies and practices of the organisation, prior to undertaking voluntary work. If you have any doubts about an organisation with which you are interested in volunteering, contact us for advice.

We will not be held responsible for defamatory/inaccurate statements about organisations, individuals or opportunities in the Opportunities section of the website. This data comes from the organisations.

If you see any information that is of poor quality, offensive, inaccurate, or downright slanderous, we will correct it immediately.
